Requirements:
-NQF Level 1 qualification, ABET Level 4 certificate, or equivalent.
-No prior work experience required.

Duties:
-Carry out road construction and maintenance tasks, including operating specialized equipment, repairing tar roads, patching potholes, sealing cracks, surfacing, and re-gravelling roads.
-Perform drainage activities, such as cleaning ditches, outlets, and concrete channels.
-Paint road markings and ensure the security of on-site assets.
-Take responsibility for equipment booked for use.
-Construct culverts, side drains, steel guardrails, and gabions.
-Build road earth layer works.
-Maintain and clean roads, sidewalks, and rest areas.
-Conduct surfacing and pothole patching, set road marking signs, and install road fencing and pipes.
-Install, replace, repair, and clean road signs and maintain the work area.
-Note: Work will be performed across Gauteng, requiring travel and potential overnight stays near various construction sites.
