Introduction
A vacancy exists for a Junior Administration Clerk at our Edenvale Branch, reporting to the Admission Supervisor. The primary purpose of this role is to support the Cash-in-Transit (CIT) department with administrative tasks, ensuring high-quality service delivery in alignment with the Company’s strategic objectives and relevant Health/Nursing legislation.

Key Responsibilities
-Maintain an efficient filing system and manage document archiving.
-Answer phone calls and take messages.
-Support the Recruitment department with onboarding processes, including preparing documents, coordinating orientation schedules, and following up with candidates.
-Handle internal and external inquiries.
-Take and distribute meeting minutes.
-Provide administrative support to the Branch Manager as needed.
-Process daily hours and posting sheets for payroll and submit pay queries.
-Meet daily, weekly, and monthly deadlines for emails, worksheets, and templates.
-Process daily data for dedicated vehicles and monthly hours/kilometers for billing.
-Generate and print monthly code lists and client details.

-Manage requests, authorizations, enrollments, and scanning for the Fidelity Access Control System.
-Order uniforms, beverages, cleaning supplies, stationery, and ID cards.
-Perform general clerical duties.
-Communicate with funders to secure authorizations.
-Collaborate with the case management team to resolve patient inquiries and outstanding authorizations.
-Process payments and manage receipting.
-Finalize Emergency Unit (EU) and Outpatient (OP) files.
-Log calls to the contact center, including rejections and EU/OP rejections.
-Follow up on outstanding INC numbers with the contact center.
-Correct Inpatient (IP) rejections as required.
-Assist with phone duties, patient admissions, bed bookings, pre-admissions, and preparing theatre list files when needed.
-Support patients in contacting funders for authorizations.

Minimum Requirements
-Matric certificate or equivalent qualification.
-Clear criminal record.
-Computer literacy with proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
-Minimum of 2 years’ administration experience.
-Background in Administration or Office Management is advantageous.
-Willingness to work overtime when required.
-Own transport is a plus.
-Grade 12 qualification and proficiency in computer use.
-Knowledge of Imeds and Impilo systems is beneficial.
-Bilingual proficiency.
-Availability to work standard office hours (Monday to Friday) with flexibility to assist the department as needed.
