🔧 Duties & Responsibilities

Store Assistants across both centres will carry out the following tasks:

1. Equipment & Goods Handling

You will ensure that all equipment and goods entering or leaving the store are received correctly, inspected, and recorded properly. Accuracy and attention to detail are essential.

2. Register Management

You must be able to complete registers for all equipment issued and received. Accurate record-keeping keeps the store functioning smoothly.

3. Fire Safety

You must be familiar with:

  • The prescribed Fire Order (DD19), and
  • The use of fire extinguishing apparatus.
    This ensures the store remains compliant with safety regulations.

4. Ad Hoc Store Tasks

Assist with any additional tasks issued by supervisors. These fall within reasonable store-related duties and support daily operations.
