👤 Who PathCare Is Looking For

PathCare wants individuals who:

  • Hold a Grade 12 (Matric) certificate.
  • Are computer literate, with strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel).
  • Have data-capturing and administrative experience, or are ready to apply themselves in a data-intensive role.
  • Type at a minimum speed of 35 words per minute, with high accuracy.
  • Ideally have some understanding of medical terminology or pathology processes (though not strictly required).
  • Are customer-focused, with good interpersonal skills — sense of responsibility, professional attitude, strong communication (written and verbal), and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Can work under pressure in a fast-paced laboratory environment, and are available for shift work, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and public holidays.

✅ Key Responsibilities

As a Data Capturer at PathCare (Login Department), your day-to-day duties will include:

  • Capturing and verifying patient and test data into the laboratory information system (LIS).
  • Ensuring high data accuracy and speed (consistent with the 35 wpm requirement).
  • Flagging incomplete or inconsistent records, following up for corrections.
  • Adhering to data privacy regulations and internal data-security protocols.
  • Participating in periodic audits and quality-assurance processes.
  • Collaborating with laboratory and admin staff to ensure smooth workflow, timely processing, and seamless data flow.
