WesBank is currently recruiting for an Administrator position based in Randburg. This is a full-time opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced office environment, supporting a sales team, keeping records accurate, and making sure daily processes run smoothly. About the Role
The purpose of this position is to provide proactive, reliable, and efficient administrative and operational support within the assigned area. In simple terms, you will help the team stay organised, ensure information is updated correctly, assist with documents and communication, and support the process from customer request all the way to invoicing and delivery.
This role is ideal for candidates with strong admin skills who can handle multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and communicate professionally with both internal departments and customers.
Key Responsibilities (What You Will Be Doing)
Here’s what WesBank expects from the successful candidate:
1) Sales Administration Support
You will support the sales team with important paperwork and admin duties, including:
- Preparing proposals, contracts, and quotations
- Ensuring all documents are neatly prepared and submitted on time
- Helping the sales team with day-to-day coordination and follow-ups
2) Record Keeping and Updates
Accurate records are very important in this role. You will:
- Maintain and update records of sales activities, customer interactions, and pipeline updates
- Support CRM data entry and ensure the system information is always correct and current
- Ensure proper filing and easy access to information when needed
3) Meeting and Communication Support
You will assist with coordination and communication tasks such as:
- Scheduling and coordinating meetings and presentations
- Supporting client communication where required
- Assisting with internal coordination to make sure tasks move forward smoothly
4) Orders, Deliveries, and Invoicing
A big part of this role is making sure the order process runs smoothly, including:
- Processing orders accurately
- Tracking deliveries and following up where needed
- Ensuring timely invoicing so that work is completed and payments are processed properly
5) Customer Service and Problem Solving
You will also be the support person for customer-related queries:
- Handling customer inquiries in a professional manner
- Escalating issues to the correct team members when needed
- Keeping communication clear and helpful so customers stay informed
6) Reporting for Management
Management needs updates to monitor progress, so you will:
- Prepare sales reports and dashboards
- Provide regular updates for management review
- Ensure that reports are accurate, clean, and presented well
7) Collaboration Across Teams
This role requires teamwork across departments. You will collaborate with:
- Finance teams to support invoicing and processing
- Operations teams to support delivery tracking and coordination
- The sales team to ensure the order-to-cash process runs smoothly from start to finish
Minimum Qualifications (What You Need)
To qualify, you should have:
- Matric OR a Diploma in a related field
- Up to 3 years of experience in sales administration, customer service, or office support
Even if you don’t have all the experience, but you have strong admin skills and you can learn quickly, it’s still worth applying if you meet the minimum requirements.
