Minimum Requirements

Key Duties and Responsibilities
The successful candidates will be responsible for ensuring that hospital premises are kept clean, hygienic, and orderly at all times. Duties will include, but are not limited to:
- Mopping and cleaning floors
- Cleaning doors, windows, toilets, bed frames, and steps
- Stripping and polishing floors when required
- Cleaning fridges and other assigned equipment
- Dusting furniture and window sills
- Operating cleaning equipment such as polishing machines
- Using cleaning chemicals correctly and safely according to instructions
- Assisting with additional cleaning duties as instructed by supervisors
- Ensuring compliance with hygiene and infection control standards
Cleaners are expected to take pride in their work and understand the importance of cleanliness in a hospital setting, where hygiene directly impacts patient care and safety.
