🔎 Job Purpose
Support the efficient, accurate delivery of bread and other products to general trade customers. Ensure timely delivery, quality control, and excellent customer service throughout the delivery route.
⚙️ Key Duties & Responsibilities
✔ Deliver products on time and in full to all assigned customers according to invoices.
✔ Load empty crates and returns from customers onto the truck safely.
✔ Inspect products — identify poor quality stock and report as per SOPs.
✔ Keep the vehicle cab and cargo area clean and hygienic at all times.
✔ Adhere to Health & Safety regulations and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
✔ Build and maintain positive relationships with customers at general trade outlets.
✔ Merchandise stock in stores and provide feedback on customer activity and competitor insights.
✔ Liaise with telesales on order information; ensure orders are submitted by required deadlines.
📋 Requirements
🔹 Minimum Qualification: Grade 12 (Matric)
🔹 Ability to operate and maneuver vehicles safely (under supervision).
🔹 Knowledge of safety and compliance standards.
🔹 Good communication skills and ability to coordinate effectively.
🔹 Strong customer service orientation and reliability.
