Description:
Applications from appropriately qualified individuals are being accepted for the Kruger National Park swimming pool monitor post. Accommodations in the park will be given to the selected individuals.
Requirements:
- Grade 12.
- Strong swimming ability is required (a practical exam will be held).
- a diploma from grade 12 or Matric.
- Being certified in first aid will be advantageous.
- ability to communicate in both English and one other local language.
- strong communication and documentation abilities.
- a spotless criminal history.
- passing the fitness test, which consists of:
- suitable swimming test
- Afterwards, interviews are given to the selected candidates.
- A medical practitioner will administer a medical fitness evaluation to the chosen individuals.
Responsibilities:
- operations for search and rescue.
- First Aid and life-saving techniques.
- Contribute to the pool’s general upkeep.
- Making sure everyone behaves properly near the pool
- keeping an eye on how the facility is being used
- handling of litter.
- To report issues with the gym’s maintenance (broken windows or cupboards)
- to carry out daily inspections, which include member assessments and orientation for the gym
- to guarantee that the prescribed workout schedule is followed.
- to guarantee exterior and interior safety standards.
