JOB PURPOSE

While delivering exceptional customer service and adhering to all store policies and procedures, help management with daily store upkeep.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• guarantees that every customer receives the best possible adidas service.
• Performs any routine sales transactions involving cash, credit, checks, etc. as required.
• indirectly involved in product ticketing and comparing received things with paperwork.
• helps with the fill-in movement of products from the stockroom to the sales floor.
• helps create merchandise displays or adheres to schedules or recommendations given by the store management team.
• Learn how to use the system to become proficient with the point-of-sale system. Make sure that policy and procedure are followed in order to maintain integrity.
• use sales strategies including add-on sales and explaining technical details to clients in order to improve salesmanship and meet position and store sales targets.
• welcomes clients and helps them locate the appropriate item in the store. On hectic workdays, they occasionally act mainly as a greeter at the front door.
• Keeping up general housekeeping standards
• Asset protection for the company

SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:

• a deep love for customer service and shopping.
• the capacity to take initiative.
• Communication skills that are clear and positive—people can hear your grin!
• Flexibility: you can assist on the weekends, in the evenings, and during the week!
• While not required, prior experience working in a fashion store will be greatly valued.

Education And Experience Requirements

• Grade 12 certificate
• 0–1 years of experience working in retail
