In order to ensure the efficient onboarding and termination of contractors as well as the onboarding of new permanent employees, we have an exciting opportunity for an Access Control & Receptionist to provide administrative support.

Job Description:

As Access Control & Receptionistyou will provide services as required and your responsibilities will include but not limited to:

  • Respect all health and safety regulations and guidelines.
  • All scheduled personnel are received and added to the appropriate onboarding queue.
  • Record all training on SAP against each person’s individual record, including Induction, Safety A1.2, A2, A3, and “We Care.”
  • Create training statistics every month.
  • Create monthly training programs that include facilities and instructors.
  • After all activities are finished, issue an access card.
  • To guarantee compliance, process all documents in accordance with business policies and processes and document control principles within predetermined time constraints.
  • Prepare the LIFE (Outsourced Occupational Health Provider) medical records that will be used for billing.
  • To guarantee compliance and simplicity of retrieval for future reference, file all documents according to document control criteria.
  • In order to guarantee effective problem solving and client happiness, respond to inquiries and offer prompt feedback.
  • To guarantee the accomplishment of functional objectives, support the supervisor and coworkers in accordance with their level and area of expertise and adhere to business standards when directed to do so or while the responsible party is away.

This role is in Contractor Performance Management (CPM) at a Band A5 level reporting to the P&O Onboarding Advisor.

Qualifications:

  • Matric
  • Administrative Certificate on NQF4 that is pertinent
  • Driver’s License in South Africa

Experience

  • two to three years of administrative work experience, ideally in a context including access control and onboarding.
  • familiarity with office operations and logistics.
  • protocols for emergencies.
  • competent with SAP (recommended) and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and Outlook)
