Brand Sales Specialist

The role:

Our brand sales specialists monitor point-of-sale implementation, brand visibility, shelf and fridge management, and the high standards of our customers’ products while working at the retail level with local business owners.

In this role you can expect to:

1. Follow our special 11-step call process by making a certain number of visits or calls to township outlets in accordance with the daily and weekly call cycle.
2. Finalize performance reports for every outlet on every call or visit.
3. Make sure that the suggested selling price of the products is accurately reflected in the outlets.
4. Install and monitor point-of-sale hardware in the stores.
5. Oversee the interaction with township company owners.
6. To impact and boost sales, educate customers and outlet owners about the brand portfolio and current trends.
7. Control product availability in stores to ensure that customers can always access our brands
8. Ensure that goods are always produced to the highest possible standards.
9. By putting merchandising and product display strategies into place, outlets may uphold the criteria of the brand visibility strategy.
10. Encourage customers to taste, try, and engage with brands through marketing campaigns and brand activations.
11. Maintain control over inventory levels in stores to ensure that customers can always purchase our brands.
12. Keep an eye on rivals to see how they are doing in the township market.
13. Find new venues where we can put our businesses to get greater exposure.

Requirements:

• You will have worked in a sales capacity in an FMCG company for at least a year and completed grade 12 or above in school.
• You’ll have a thorough grasp of the township market’s consumer base, their decision-making process, and the motivations behind their brand purchases.
• You’ll be able to communicate with others and possess a strong focus on customer service.
