Minimum Requirements:
- Grade 11
- the capacity to write and read
- Capability to record, aggregate, organize, and cross-check daily, weekly, and monthly data collected before sending it to the team leader
- a readiness to receive foundational instruction in the verification and application of indigency
- Must be a Ward-Based Ekurhuleni resident, based in the communities they will serve (Attach Proof of Residence)
Core Responsibilities:
- Perform both automated and manual verification of applications for indigence.
- Visit a predetermined number of homes within a particular ward to verify the existence of impoverished households based on ward.
- interviewing possible customers
- Verify clients’ ERP system and Venus municipal account status.
- Notify the CRM Department and the team supervisor of any electrical or water breaches.
- Participate in local impoverished initiatives by attending them.
- Identification and reporting of social illnesses in the home to the local social worker for additional assistance
