Minimum Requirements:

• Grade 11
• the capacity to write and read
• Capability to record, aggregate, organize, and cross-check daily, weekly, and monthly data collected before sending it to the team leader
• a readiness to receive foundational instruction in the verification and application of indigency
• Must be a Ward-Based Ekurhuleni resident, based in the communities they will serve (Attach Proof of Residence)

Core Responsibilities:

• Perform both automated and manual verification of applications for indigence.
• Visit a predetermined number of homes within a particular ward to verify the existence of impoverished households based on ward.
• interviewing possible customers
• Verify clients’ ERP system and Venus municipal account status.
• Notify the CRM Department and the team supervisor of any electrical or water breaches.
• Participate in local impoverished initiatives by attending them.
• Identification and reporting of social illnesses in the home to the local social worker for additional assistance
