Minimum Requirements:

• Matric
• proficiency with computers
• Capacity to oversee a group of field personnel
• Capacity to organize and combine team plans
• Capacity to carry out and oversee group tasks
• Capacity to write both narrative and numerical reports
• Must be a Ward-Based Ekurhuleni resident, based in the communities they will serve (Attach Proof of Residence)

Core Responsibilities:

• Verify applicants’ eligibility for assistance both manually and electronically.
• interviewing possible customers
• Verify the status of your clients’ municipal accounts on Venus.
• Report and monitor referrals for electrical and water problems.
• Participate in and attend campaigns against poverty in your place of work.
• Connect the community with appropriate standards for impoverished policies.
• completing and submitting applications for indigence
• Check the data that the Indigent Fieldworkers have submitted.
• Compile and provide the Region Indigent Coordinator’s weekly and monthly reports, both narrative and numerical.
• Follow up on recommendations for social workers for social ills
• Participate in the mobile verification device training
• Attend staff meetings in your region.
• Oversee a group of field employees
• Before sending the data to the Region Indigent Coordinator, compile, double-check, and combine the daily, weekly, and monthly data that has been obtained.
