Minimum Requirements

• citizen of South Africa.
• citizen of the Ekurhuleni City.
• Grade 10 or higher

• Capacity to interact with members of a diverse community in an efficient manner.

• dedication to public safety and community service.
• Show that you are knowledgeable with urban safety programs.
• Show that you understand community safety.
• Capacity both physically and mentally to lead regular transect walks.
• No open cases or criminal history.

Core Responsibilities

• To reduce crime and improve community safety, conduct proactive transect walks on a regular basis in the corresponding wards.
• Develop cooperative and trustworthy ties with local groups and residents.
• timely completion of assignments and respect for deadlines.
• Record findings and send them to Teal Leaders.
