Minimum Requirements:
- Grade 12 / Matric (NQF level 4);
- An additional benefit will be prior education and/or experience in a similar field;
- proficiency with Microsoft Office applications;
- Gaining knowledge of the public sector sector would be beneficial.
- Only citizens of the City of Johannesburg will be taken into account.
Primary Function:
Offer administrative support services related to the supply of efficient information and document management systems, correspondence flow and management, file retrieval and filing, and the disposal of outdated files in accordance with applicable laws, regulations, and standards.
Key Learning Areas:
- Make certain that the department receives adequate administrative assistance for a functional document and information system;
- Sort, register, scan, and store every document and record in the computerized system;
- filing, locating, and getting rid of old records, files, and documents;
- help in the administration of the office;
- administration of general offices;
- archiving and document management;
- Registry of all documents and records

- proficiency with computers (Microsoft Word and Excel);
