Cleaner

Role Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate takes pride in maintaining a clean and organized environment, ensuring a positive and welcoming atmosphere for both staff and visitors. The Cleaner will be responsible for performing a variety of cleaning duties to uphold our facility’s standards of cleanliness and hygiene.

Requirements:

• Grade 12 minimum
• Preferably, you have solid experience in a related cleaning capacity.
• familiarity with cleaning supplies, tools, and methods.
• the capacity to perform well and independently with little direction.
• a strong commitment to upholding the highest standards of cleanliness and attention to detail.
• Strong interpersonal abilities and the capacity to work well in a team.
• the ability to work outside of regular hours, including on the weekends and in the nights if necessary.
• familiarity with safety procedures and the capacity to follow them religiously.

Responsibilities

• Sinks, hand basins, surfaces, and visible services should all be cleaned and sanitized.
• ensuring that the restrooms are maintained clean and organized.
• To make floor cleaning easier, make sure all trash receptacles are cleaned, emptied, and moved.
• Vacuum all matting, clean the floor beneath entry matting, and clean the matting itself.
• Keep your workspace tidy and follow cleaning guidelines.
• Make sure that trash is collected every day, and follow OHS regulations at all times.
• Control of cleaning supplies and inventory, making sure they are kept securely and minimizing losses.
