Job Objectives:
- In order to carry out all operational tasks at the point of sale quickly and effectively.
- to uphold the highest standards of accuracy when processing clubcard benefits, collecting payment for products purchased, and scanning merchandise.
- to guarantee the constant safe handling of currency.
- In order to meet the goals for clubcard membership, aggressively promote the Clicks clubcard and sign up new members.
- To ensure that clients “feel good and pay less” and to positively impact sales by informing them of promotions.
- To provide exceptional customer service by serving as a brand representative, being noticeable, and providing a warm, competent service.
- To effectively carry out and maintain all general housekeeping and merchandising tasks in accordance with store and visual merchandise standards.
- To live and drive the corporate values in order to support the Group’s mission to be the customer’s first choice retailer for health and beauty products.
- To be informed about new items, ranges, promotions, and events so that customers are always given accurate information.
Knowledge:

Minimum requirements
Experience:
- Experience working with customers in a retail or FMCG store setting is preferred.
Education:
- Essential: Grade 12
- 50% in math and 50% in English at the Grade 12 level is preferred.
