Job description

Job Objectives:

  • in order to quickly and effectively complete all operational tasks at the point of sale.
  • to uphold the highest standards of accuracy when scanning goods, collecting money for them, and processing clubcard benefits.
  • to guarantee that money is always handled safely.
  • In order to meet the clubcard participation goals, it is necessary to actively market the Clicks’ clubcard and sign up new members.
  • to inform consumers about sales specials in order to make them “feel good and pay less” and to increase sales.
  • To provide exceptional customer service by serving as a brand representative, being visible, and providing a warm, competent service.
  • to effectively carry out and uphold all general cleaning and merchandising tasks in accordance with store and visual merchandise standards.
  • to uphold and promote the company’s values in order to help the Group achieve its goal of becoming the consumer’s first choice health and beauty shop.
  • must keep abreast of events, promotions, ranges, and items in order to always give customers accurate information.

Knowledge:

  • Simple mathematical computations
  • Experience in retail and FMCG, as well as knowledge of merchandising and promotion concepts
  • Knowledge of stock management protocols
  • Understanding of excellent customer service

Minimum requirements
Experience:
  • Experience working with customers in a retail or fast-moving consumer goods business is preferred.
Education:
  • Grade 12 is a must.
  • 50% in math and 50% in English at the grade 12 level are preferred.
