REQUIREMENTS:

  • Grade 12 or equivalent NQF4
  • Business English: Proficient
  • Weekends, public holidays, and shifts
  • Operating in harsh circumstances
  • Basic computer literacy

Duties and Responsibilities

Ledger Control:

  • Look up outstanding EFT payments and driver cash shortfalls every day in the driver ledger.
  • Create journals for driver transfers and submit them to the manager for approval.
  • Check the driver’s cash shortfall and report it to the DMs so they can speak with the drivers.
  • Check with the team leader to make sure the recon clerk did not make any modifications to the driver recon work. To make changes, the Team Leader needs to bring up the issue with the Recon Clerk.
  • The CASH Short Daily Report.
  • Weekly reconcile driver accounts; notify DMs of any outstanding differences so they can follow up with the drivers involved.
  • When necessary, support the Driver Reconciliation team.
