Requirements

  • Grade 12 or equivalent NQF4
  • Code 10 license for automobiles
  • Relevant driver code 10 experience (FMCG/food production) of two to five years
  • Off-site travel and overnight stays
  • Pass the Readiness Test

Duties and Responsibilities

Drive delivery vehicle

  • Observe the Traffic Laws (AARTO)
  • Observe Clover driver best practices.
  • Keep your car clean.
  • Perform pre- and post-trip checks, and report any malfunctions, deviations, or accidents.
  • Follow the route map.
  • Follow the logging protocol at the rear entrance.

Deliver Stock

  • Keep the integrity of the stock
  • Containers under control (pallets and crates)
  • When necessary, follow the stock recheck method.
  • Prior to loading, inspect the stock; any damaged material should be notified to the stock controller.

Perform administrative duties

  • Before leaving, confirm all audit trials and uplifts.
  • Verify the entire POD (signed and approved).
  • Make sure that any necessary document modifications are made.

Supervise subordinates and safety aspects

  • Respect and obey safety laws and guidelines
