Delivery Assistants

Responsibilities

• making sure the right merchandise is loaded in accordance with the picking list and invoice.
• ensuring that the customer receives the right merchandise in accordance with the invoice.
• jointly and severally liable with the driver for any stock shortfalls.
• raising buybacks and returns in accordance with the uplift paperwork and claim.
• ensuring that damaged stock received from consumers and buybacks/returns are sent back to the warehouse manager or stock controller.
• Make ensuring that Simba policies and procedures are followed when doing routine maintenance, inspections, and other tasks on Simba vehicles.
• Make sure the delivery car’s outside and interior are consistently kept spotless.
• Verify that every POD received from a customer complies with Simba policies and procedures and is clear.
• accountable for making sure the warehouse manager or stock controller receives all PODs on the day of arrival.
• Respect the regulations on health, safety, and security (PPE Compliance).

Qualifications

• Matric certificate
• Code 10 Drivers Licence
• PDP
• at least two years of distribution experience
• expertise and familiarity using the Handheld Computer (HHC) equipment.
• the capacity to labor weekends and extended hours
• own vehicle
