Requirements :
- NQF level 2 (Grade 10 certificate or equivalent),
- five years of related work experience.
- A valid operating certificate and driver’s license (Code EC).
- Proficiency in equipment use and effective communication.
Duties :
- using specialized machinery and equipment, such as trucks, graders, and TLBs.
- Equipment loading and unloading.
- Examine, maintain, and record equipment flaws.
- Maintain a record of all the vehicles and equipment you use, apply safety precautions, clean and lubricate machinery, grade gravel roads, re-gravel, and do shoulder maintenance.
- Transporting work teams, supplies, and equipment; identifying and fixing small technical issues with the cars and arranging for their maintenance (inspecting the water, oil, and fuel levels, as well as the tires and condition).
