REQUIREMENTS :
- NQF level 1 or 2 (Abet level 2 certificate or equivalent).
- Possess demonstrated abilities and capabilities in the following areas: reading comprehension, basic hygiene concepts, food service equipment operation, interpersonal skills, and basic food preparation knowledge.
DUTIES :
- Maintain cooking equipment and utensils clean and stocked.
- Support services for catering include, but are not limited to: preparing food, snacks, and drinks (water, hot and cold beverages); verifying and updating boardroom reservations; serving food and drinks; keeping track of food supplies; reporting waste and losses; and upholding quality control procedures for all food served.
- Use good hygiene, take precautions, be in charge of cleaning supplies and materials, and take out the rubbish disposal.
