REQUIREMENTS :
- An ABET Certificate.
- 0 to 1 year of relevant work experience.
- familiarity with gardening tools and equipment.
- understanding of the process of caring for a lawn.
- familiarity with the procedures and methods of pruning and trimming.
- Understanding of weekly/daily maintenance schedules for garden equipment to ensure optimal machine / equipment functioning.
- fundamental understanding of water resources and usage.
- awareness of safety and health protocols.
- understanding of planting techniques and garden upkeep.
- familiarity with working at heights.
- familiarity with painting, tiling, and paving.
- Ability to stand or walk for extended periods of time is a must.
- basic knowledge of laws enacted by the government.
DUTIES :
- able to operate gardening tools, including utensils and running blades, and chemicals for gardening purposes.
- Prune, weed, fertilize, and irrigate flower beds to keep them looking good.
- Landscape upkeep includes using a lawnmower or ride-on tractor to cut grass and using a hand or brush cutter for trimming.
- grounds upkeep, cleaning, and tool and structure repair (buildings, benches, etc.).
- Maintain parking lots, driveways, sides, and other associated ground features properly.
- Fix small appliances and other relevant assets.
- Periodically assist with maintenance tasks. Respect the entire OHS Act.
