REQUIREMENTS :
- A valid driver’s license and a Grade 10 Certificate or Adult Basic Education and Training (ABET) qualification are requirements for applicants.
- 7 months or more of relevant experience is required.
- Job related knowledge: understanding of the city or cities where the task will be conducted.
- Job related skills:
- planning abilities.
- strong communication abilities (written and verbal).
- Social abilities and literacy basics.
- a trustworthy, imaginative person who can function well under pressure and in a group.
DUTIES :
- Operate light and medium vehicles to deliver commodities and carry out passenger transportation (mail, documents, office equipment).
- Gather, disseminate, and manage document movement.
- Do routine maintenance on the assigned vehicle and promptly report any issues.
- To make sure the car is always in top shape, perform daily pre- and post-trip inspections.
- In relation to the vehicle and the commodities handled, fill out all the necessary and prescribed paperwork and logbooks.
- Keep schedule trip papers correct and current, recording official excursions and daily mileage.
- Gather and deliver documents and related materials to departments, branches, colleges, or any other departmental external parties.
- Make that the movement of papers is properly and securely controlled.
- help with registry operations. Organize incoming mail and assist with file tracking.
