Role Purpose:
- To guarantee enough stock availability in accordance with the manufacturing schedule
Required Qualifications:
- Matric or equivalent literacy and numeric level
Required Experience:
- Previous experience in a production environment, minimum of 3 months
Required Knowledge and Skills:
- fundamental numerical skills
- a high standard of ethics and honesty
- Understanding of production procedures
- overtime and shift work
- Understanding of health and safety regulations
Key responsibilities of the role:
- Verify that all resources are available in accordance with the demands of production.
- Any mechanical or electrical problems that could interfere with the plant’s seamless operation should be reported to the supervisor or control room.
- Make accurate records of any information needed for production analysis, such as tipping logs.
- Handle manual production constraints, such as unclogging stuck elevators.
- Verify things visually, such as the availability of raw materials, and report any deviations to the supervisor or control room.
- Verify adherence to relevant work instructions and protocols.
- Respect for Feed Safety Policies and Guidelines.
- Respect the environmental, health, and safety standards and procedures.
- Fulfill whatever reasonable responsibilities that the supervisor or control room request.
- Carry out your daily inventory tasks.
