At our head office in Bonaero Park, Safair Operations, doing business as FlySafair, is looking for an Administrative Assistant. The Manager of Talent Acquisition will get reports from the selected candidate.
Job Description
- Assist several departments that require administrative support;
- quickly become acquainted with each allocated department’s procedures, rules, and specifications;
- Offer administrative assistance, such as scheduling, data entry, communication, and record keeping;
- proactively detect and address administrative bottlenecks to guarantee seamless daily operations;
- smoothly move across departments while upholding a high standard of efficiency and professionalism;
- Adjust to different activities, priorities, and team dynamics based on the particular requirements of the department;
- Make suggestions for and carry out changes to administrative procedures while guaranteeing their uniformity and sustainability;
- When appropriate, distribute best practices among departments;
- Assist and encourage team members as they work toward the group’s objectives.
Job Requirements
- Grade 12 or equivalent (Essential);
- One year or more of experience in a general administrative position or a comparable one is required;
- knowledge of office equipment, such as filing systems and scheduling tools;
- the capacity to pick up new systems, software, and procedures fast;
- familiarity with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook;
- excellent organizational abilities and meticulousness;
- strong communication abilities both in writing and speaking;
- strong multitasking and time management skills;
- solving issues.
