FLYSAFAIR | Junior Warehouse Controller

At our head office in Bonaero Park, Safair Operations, also known as FlySafair, has a position open for a Junior Warehouse Controller.The Warehouse Manager will get reports from the selected candidate.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• accountable for supporting the inspection of arriving items as needed to guarantee conformity with work instructions;
• dividing received components into receiving regions based on the categories of parts received;
• As needed, lend a hand with weekly cycle counts in any of the warehouses;
• maintaining accurate records and filing all necessary paperwork related to the transfer of spare parts;
• the stock system being updated to account for pertinent moves;
• components routing to hangars, airports, and outposts as needed;
• preparing packaging in accordance with work instructions and shipment documentation;
• Flow Centric updating as soon as items are shipped or received;
• assembling and distributing parts at every hangar;
• everyday housekeeping is required;
• drawing from the primary warehouse and distributing spares;
• Respond to any spares requests made through WhatsApp, phone calls, or email;
• Perform general warehouse tasks as directed by the supervisor.
• Make sure the warehouse is always under control for access;
• Perform ad hoc duties as directed by management.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Valid Matric/Grade 12 certificate;
• one to two years of expertise in warehousing
• Having a forklift license will be beneficial.
• adept with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook;
• good familiarity with the systems used in stock management;
• Need to be prepared to put in extra time;
• A valid driver’s license is a requirement.
