Requirements :
- two years of driving experience along with a grade 10 or comparable qualification.
- Currently valid PDP and a driver’s license with code 10 (C1)/(EB).
- Capacity to function both alone and as a team under duress.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills are required, as well as the ability to read and write.
- Be ready to work on public holidays and in shifts.
- Also needs to be capable of operating and driving the tractor.
Duties :
- Carry out the permitted transportation of patients, employees, paperwork, and other necessities to and from different locations.
- Before operating a car, always check its condition and the levels of its tires, fuel, water, and oil.
- Report minor and significant vehicle accident defects right away to the manager or supervisor.
- Observe the guidelines and protocols set forth by the Occupational Health and Safety Act at all times.
- Respond to inquiries in a professional manner; offer direction and counsel as needed.
- Encourage the consistent safe handling, storage, and management of government vehicles and their accessories.
- Make sure you always have your PDP and driver’s license with you.
- Make sure the state vehicles are constantly spotless.
- awareness of transportation regulations and a solid grasp of government fleet.
