Requirements :
- Grade 10 or the equivalent in training.
- A minimum of one year’s worth of hospital job experience.
- Must be able to handle the position’s physical demands.
- be able to function both under duress and as a team. strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- enthusiastic about working nights, weekends, public holidays, and shift work.
Duties :
- Make sure that the wards, kitchens, bathrooms, sluice’s, offices, floors, and windows are all dust-free and clean for patients and staff.
- getting rid of general and medical garbage in the wards.
Handling of soiled sheets. - Deliver meals, tea, coffee, and water to patients, as well as retrieve and return food carts.
- Cutlery and crockery must be cleaned, arranged, and controlled.
- Gather trash cans and cleaning supplies.
- Unpack necessities and fresh linens.
- efficient use of financial and human resources.
- Respect safety guidelines.
- Fulfill the responsibilities outlined in the job description, work plan, and any tasks that the supervisor has assigned you.
