The Engineering department of Coca-Cola Beverages South Africa (CCBSA) has a fantastic opening. We are seeking a talented candidate with the necessary training and experience for the position of handyman at the CCBSA Wadeville. The chosen applicant will answer to the Team Leader directly: Site. ESSENTIAL PURPOSE To preventatively maintain (inspect, adjust, and repair) and service site-related equipment, including building maintenance, painting, and general repairs in accordance with maintenance schedules.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

KEY OUTPUTS

Using hand and power tools, replace or repair damaged equipment pieces, then reassemble the system.
Execute routine preventive maintenance to guarantee that building systems run well and that the structure’s physical state does not deteriorate.
Make use of a variety of tools, including typical hand and power tools like hammers, hoists, saws, drills, and wrenches.

upkeep of restroom facilities
assemble machinery, equipment, plumbing, and pipe systems.
Roofs, windows, doors, flooring, woodwork, drywall, and other building construction components can be painted and repaired.

Fix tables, benches, dividers, and other wooden buildings like barns and sheds.

QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE

Grade 12 with Maths
It will be helpful if you have a trade certification in something like plumbing, painting, building, or carpentry.

a minimum of two years of experience in a construction-related field as a tiller, painter, plumber, or carpenter.
spoken English conversation.
the capacity to operate independently.

use both hand and power tools.
Valid Drivers license.
