Job Description
Isuzu Kimberley is currently seeking an Administrator: Service Advisor to join their team.
The role focuses on delivering fast, high-quality service to customers for vehicle servicing, repairs, and maintenance. It serves as a key link between the technical staff and customers, ensuring repairs are cost-effective and service standards remain exceptional.
The Service Advisor is responsible for preparing cost estimates for repairs and routine maintenance, communicating effectively with customers to identify required services, estimating completion times, and keeping customers updated throughout the repair process.

The responsibilities of a Service Advisor include the following tasks:
- Greet customers warmly and professionally to make them feel appreciated and respected.
- Engage with customers thoughtfully, listening closely to fully grasp their service requirements.
- Prepare cost estimates for services, promote routine maintenance and repair options, and follow up on service progress and customer questions.
- Communicate clearly with customers, explaining service details in a simple and suitable way, bringing in Service Technicians when needed.
- Ensure customers are well-informed about all available products and services.
- Build strong internal and external teamwork to speed up service delivery.
- Manage appointment scheduling, phone calls, and customer inquiries efficiently.
- Help arrange alternative transportation options, such as car rentals or shuttle services, as required.
- Uphold high-quality administrative standards for the department, including service records, invoices, job cards, warranty claims, and authorizations.
- Keep an up-to-date customer database with accurate contact information and details.
- Support the dealership in meeting and exceeding industry benchmarks for process efficiency and service quality.
- Foster strong customer satisfaction and loyalty to encourage repeat visits and business.
- Handle customer complaints effectively using the appropriate CRM system(s).
- Continuously expand personal expertise to stay knowledgeable and relevant in the role.
- Participate in regular team meetings, offering and receiving feedback to drive ongoing improvement.
- Complete all required OEM training courses and other assigned development opportunities.
Qualifications and Experience
Minimum Qualifications and Experience needed:
- Grade 12
- Valid, clean driver’s license with the ability to drive confidently and legally
- Proficient in computer use
- Strong understanding of dealership policies and procedures required
- Familiarity with the competitive automotive industry
- Basic math skills (numeracy)
- Experience with relevant operating systems is a plus
- Prior experience with the Isuzu brand is beneficial
