Job Description

There is a position open at Isuzu Vereeniging for an Administrator: Non-Technical Service Advisor.

Serving as an interface between the technical team and the customer to guarantee cost-effective repairs and high-quality service is the role’s main goal. It also involves providing customers with timely and high-quality service related to vehicle maintenance, repair, and servicing.

The service advisor estimates the cost of repairs and normal maintenance, determines what services are required, projects the time required for completion, and maintains continuous contact with the customer throughout the repair process.

Specific Role Responsibilities

The responsibilities of a Service Advisor include the following tasks:

  • Make sure clients feel appreciated by greeting them in a kind and professional manner.
  • Engage in careful communication and interaction with clients to fully grasp and identify their service requirements.
  • Create service estimates, market regular upkeep and repair services, and respond to client inquiries and service-related follow-ups.
  • Effectively engage and communicate with consumers, providing clear and relevant explanations of service specifics and involving service technicians as needed.
  • Increase consumer knowledge of all offered goods and services.
  • To accelerate service delivery, establish cooperative internal and external collaborations.
  • Make appointments, take phone calls, and respond to inquiries.
  • Help arrange for other forms of transportation, reservations for vehicle rentals, shuttle services, etc.
  • Uphold high standards for departmental administration, including authorization, job cards, service sheets, invoicing, and warranty claims.
  • Keep a customer database updated with information and contact details.
  • Help the dealership reach and uphold industry standards for excellence in service and process efficiency.
  • To guarantee repeat business, cultivate and uphold high levels of customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Ascertain the efficient handling of client complaints through the appropriate CRM system or systems.
  • To stay up to date and relevant, maintain and expand your own particular knowledge base.
  • Participate in frequent team meetings, providing and accepting feedback to foster ongoing development.
  • Participate in all offered OEM training sessions as well as any additional possibilities for professional growth.

Qualifications and Experience

Minimum Qualifications and Experience needed:

  • Grade 12
  • a true driver’s license that is valid without endorsements and the capacity to drive safely and lawfully.
  • knowledgeable about computers
  • It’s crucial to understand the regulations and processes of the business.
  • understanding of the automotive industry’s competitive landscape.
  • Fundamental mathematical aptitude (numeracy)
  • Being familiar with pertinent operating systems would be beneficial.
  • It will help to have prior Isuzu brand experience.
