REQUIREMENTS:
- Grade 9 / NQF Level 1 or 2 (Abet level 2 certificate or equivalent).
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES REQUIRED:

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS:
- Execute standard procedures for building and/or maintaining roads by doing, among other things, the following:
- Culvert and side drain construction.
- Build and maintain gabions and guardrails made of steel.
- building of layer works and road soil.
- Keep walkways, rest spaces, and roads clean and maintained.
- mending portholes and surfacing.
- Read about pipe laying and fencing.
- putting in studs and road markers.
- Put up distance markers, road signs, and barriers to contain the work area.
- road material being crushed.
- grass cutting and brush clearance.
