A dedicated person is needed to work as an admission clerk at Life Groenkloof Hospital, where they will be accountable to the reception supervisor.

Critical Outputs

  • accountable for appropriately documenting each patient admission to the hospital.
  • The chosen applicant is responsible for:
  • accurately performing the hospital’s admissions and receptionist duties.
  • carrying out general administrative tasks related to patient admission,
  • including account filing and help with billing.
  • putting patients on the Impilo system.
  • managing the switchboard.
  • Managing finances.
  • coordinating with medical assistance to secure admittance authorization

Requirements

  • Grade 12 Certificate will be required.
  • Prior knowledge of using IMEDS and Impilo will be beneficial. Need to be proficient with computers and have a fast typing speed
  • possess excellent communication abilities and are fully bilingual. dependable, driven, devoted, and diligent.
  • the capacity to remain courteous and professional at all times when working under pressure.
  • accurate with money management and reliable. (There will be an ITC check).
  • Needs to be detail-oriented and figure-oriented.
  • It will help if you have prior medical experience.
