A dedicated person is needed to work as an admission clerk at Life Groenkloof Hospital, where they will be accountable to the reception supervisor.
Critical Outputs
- accountable for appropriately documenting each patient admission to the hospital.
- The chosen applicant is responsible for:
- accurately performing the hospital’s admissions and receptionist duties.
- carrying out general administrative tasks related to patient admission,
- including account filing and help with billing.
- putting patients on the Impilo system.
- managing the switchboard.
- Managing finances.
- coordinating with medical assistance to secure admittance authorization
Requirements
- Grade 12 Certificate will be required.
- Prior knowledge of using IMEDS and Impilo will be beneficial. Need to be proficient with computers and have a fast typing speed
- possess excellent communication abilities and are fully bilingual. dependable, driven, devoted, and diligent.
- the capacity to remain courteous and professional at all times when working under pressure.
- accurate with money management and reliable. (There will be an ITC check).
- Needs to be detail-oriented and figure-oriented.
- It will help if you have prior medical experience.
