Introduction
A Housekeeper position is open at Life The Glynnwood Hospital. The Housekeeper will work under the direction of the Services Manager. The position will entail gathering, managing, cleaning, and distributing supplies and linens across the hospital.
Critical Outputs
- Gathering of linens from the units
- Efficient administration and provision of linens to every unit
- Maintain linen levels in units in accordance with specifications.
- Maintain quality control on the linen that is given and received.
- Precision in the daily linen count
- Weighing linen accurately for washing
- A linen stocktake will be conducted as needed.
- It is necessary that the linen storage area be tidy and spotless.
- Maintaining precise records of the total amount of linen provided and collected per unit
- Maintaining documentation of linens sent to off-site locations for laundering
- helps the hospital with uniform management
- Handling Consumables
Requirements
- A year of housekeeping experience in a medical facility or hotel setting will be beneficial.
- Strong interpersonal skills are essential.
- Needs to be extremely driven and have positive interpersonal skills
