Introduction

There’s a position open for a Porter, working out of Life Carstenview and answering to the Clinic Manager.Patient transfers between hospital departments will fall within the purview of the chosen candidate.

Critical Outputs

Helps and moves patients to and from different parts of the hospital, such as the wards, treatment areas, and operating room, using a wheelchair, stretcher, or patient vehicle.

Porters patients who need help getting from the treatment area or nursing unit to the hospital’s car or leave.
Gas cylinders moving about the hospital.
Make sure the trolleys are clean and in good operating order by checking for repairs.

As needed, deliver correspondence to doctors’ offices.
Assure that Life Healthcare’s policies and procedures are followed in providing high-quality patient care and customer satisfaction.

fulfilling requests for general administrative support and other relevant tasks.

Requirements

Matric
experience with private healthcare.

the capacity to work shifts in accordance with the hospital’s operating requirements.
It would be advantageous to have knowledge of the difficulties and key actors in the private healthcare sector.
