Medirite Plus | Pharmacy Sales Assistant

Purpose of the Job

To guarantee the seamless running of in-store retail operations, Medirite Plus Parklands is looking for a dedicated, customer-focused pharmacy sales assistant. The pharmacy sales assistant’s duties include greeting customers, keeping an eye on their behavior to stop stealing, setting up visual displays, handling refunds, and more. Additionally, you should be able to determine the demands of your consumers and recommend products that will best satisfy those needs.

Job Objectives

• following business protocol when processing payments and reconciling sales and receipts.
• Keep your product knowledge current and be aware of new products.
• following regular operational procedures when restocking merchandise and setting up the sales floor.
• carrying out price audits on a regular basis to find and address price disparities.
• use the Point of Sale (POS) technology at the stores to process payments from customers.

Experience

Essential:

• at least five months of experience working in a retail setting as a point of sale or till point.
• demonstrated expertise in retail sales.

Knowledge and Skills

• knowledgeable in computers.
• Fluent in both Afrikaans and English is preferred.
