Job Description

• Take in, unpack, inspect, and store all incoming inventory.
• Update bin locations in accordance with policies and procedures of the firm.
• Select every component based on an electronic bill (unless specified otherwise) and deliver it to the relevant authorized individual.
• Verify that any pieces that are being released are undamaged before transferring them to the right individual.
• Maintain and uphold a clean and organized warehouse at all times.
• help with periodic and ongoing stock counts
• Carry out any additional acceptable tasks that may occasionally be needed.
• Make sure your personal hygiene and dress code adhere to the company’s requirements.
• Be prepared to put in extra time during stocktaking

Position Overview

There is a position open at Mercedes-Benz Bedfordview for a Parts Picker Packer Storeman who will be working under the Parts Manager. This person will be in charge of unpacking receiving components, storing them in the appropriate container, and selecting parts based on accurate delivery documentation.

Specific Role Responsibilities

• Take in, unpack, inspect, and store all incoming inventory.
• Before binning, make sure the pieces are undamaged and that the part number and label are accurate.
• Make sure the administrative department gets all signed documentation that is pertinent.
• Make sure the binning is accurate.
• Make sure the selection is accurate.
• Follow all safety and security guidelines that the company has established.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of Grade 12
• Experience with area warehouses will be beneficial.
• Computer literacy is necessary.

• Excellent verbal communication skills are required.
• Capacity to function both in a group setting and under pressure
