REQUIREMENTS

  • Grade 12.
  • Computer literacy Certificate.
  • A valid driver’s license is an added benefit.
  • proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • administrative and secretarial abilities.
  • strong work ethic.
  • Strong administrative abilities, flexibility, communication, assertiveness/leadership, negotiation, stress and conflict management, problem-solving, office/diary administration, writing and typing abilities, meticulousness, and a thorough comprehension of the traffic section.
  • Two to three years of relevant administrative experience in a local government authority or other equivalent high-pressure setting.

DUTIES

  • responding to and vetting every call for the Chief Superintendent and Traffic Chief.
  • typing up all required paperwork.
  • submitting administrative tasks for Traffic Services in order to maintain correct archiving.
  • arranging events, whether official or informal.
  • to guarantee the administrative activities of the section are in place for future use and the section’s overall seamless operation.
  • arranging the diaries of the chief superintendent and chief traffic.
  • drafting a report every month.
  • Execute any additional relevant ad hoc activities and responsibilities as occasionally requested or mandated by management (supervisor).
