REQUIREMENTS
- Grade 10.
- Grade 12 (added advantage).
- A valid driver’s license is an extra benefit.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities (must be multilingual).
- Candidates who live in the Midvaal region will be given priority.
- the capacity to comprehend and carry out instructions.
- sound physical health, fundamental abilities, and experience performing manual labor.
- must fulfill the post’s operating requirements.
- a diligent, disciplined individual.
- a minimum of one year’s experience working as a general worker for a local government authority in engineering services (water, sewer, electrical, and purification).
DUTIES
- In charge of using safety tools and protected hands to load and unload the section’s supplies and machinery.
- Post signs alerting drivers to the presence of workers along municipal roads while excavation work is underway.
- Using a variety of hand labor tools and equipment, clean the working area of responsibility and its surroundings to guarantee a clean atmosphere.
- Perform any labor-intensive tasks as directed by the section superintendent or supervisor.
- compliance with all legal directives from the supervisor in order to maintain section productivity and efficiency.
- Execute any other related Ad Hoc activities and responsibilities as needed or requested from time to time by management (supervisor).
