PERMANENT GENERAL WORKER POSITIONS (300)

The purpose:

to perform necessary cleaning and/or garbage can delivery duties. Street cleaning, stacking, sweeping, lane flushing, removal of carcasses, bin deliveries, and other general jobs are some examples of these tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

Sweeping and cleaning the streets.

Gather all the supplies and tools need for the workday.
Using a shovel and broom, clean the designated area(s) and the streets, then bag any trash.
Push trash bags to the sidewalk using a trolley.

Empty each and every bin.
Inform team leaders of any incidents involving injuries, safety, and equipment.
Inform the team leaders of any grievances and inquiries.

Following the street’s sweeping and cleaning, start collecting litter in the same area, including the pavements.
Using the proper equipment (a bag and a cart), pick up rubbish on one side of the street before moving on to the other; tidy up all the litter: Don’t cross streets back and forth; instead, clean one side at a time.
Take out the appropriate quantity of bags from the store and allocate them appropriately.

Learn the layout of the assigned space.
Give out bags to customers in accordance with services.
Gather trash bags and load them onto the cart so they may be stacked.

Make sure the bag opening faces the road and that the bags are placed in the correct order as you proceed to the stacking point to discharge the bags.
As soon as the bag breaks, clean up any spills.
Empty all trash bags and take out the boxes.

Gather replacement or new bins from the central storehouse and transfer them to the bin delivery vehicle.
Before departing central stores, inspect and report any damaged trash cans.
Communicate with the general public, clients, and representatives of other departments to ensure that complaints and inquiries are promptly resolved.

Record each garbage bin’s serial number in the bin delivery register.
At the delivery site, dispose of new or replacement trash cans. In return for the delivery of the bin, pick up any broken trash cans and load them into the delivery vehicle.
Make sure the recipients receive a copy of the delivery receipt and sign for the delivery.

Continue this process until all of the scheduled deliveries of trash cans have occurred.
