Main job purpose

Providing the best quality of service every day, delivering glass to and from customers in the most efficient manner, and accurately tracking the different paper requirements

Main Objective

  • a thorough knowledge of how the roads in your delivery region operate
  • The car needs to be frequently serviced and kept spotless both inside and out.
  • Fill out daily travel forms truthfully and precisely.
  • Fill out the quality check forms as you load.
  • daily inspection of the car and prompt reporting of any issues
  • The capacity to build strong working relationships with individuals both inside and outside the organization at all levels
  • Needs to be reliable and sincere.
  • Capacity to function in a rigorous, fast-paced, and high-pressure work environment
  • Needs to be highly energized both mentally and physically
  • Comply with all work instructions, SOPs, and company regulations.
  • Respect traffic laws, environmental regulations, and safety and housekeeping requirements.
  • willing to work on the weekends, after hours, and in different shifts as needed
  • Make sure you always load and unload in a safe manner.
  • Make sure that every paperwork is accurately and neatly completed.
  • Before you leave the location for delivery, you must help load the materials onto the van.
  • Any additional tasks that the Factory Services Manager asks you to complete, to the best of your abilities

Qualification(s)

  • Matric
  • A valid driver’s license with a code of 10 or above and PrDP.

  • required background in quality assurance and glass handling
  • A minimum of two years of driving experience would be beneficial.
