Rainbow Chicken is seeking a highly skilled and seasoned Receiving Clerk to become a part of our Stores department. The chosen candidate will be stationed in Worcester, Western Cape, and will answer directly to the Stores Supervisor.
Role Purpose:
- to guarantee the accurate and timely receipt of goods into the SAP system and the retailers.
Required Qualifications:
- Grade 12
Required Experience:
- a year of appropriate experience working in a retail setting
- relevant experience working with SAP
- familiarity with procurement systems
Required Knowledge and Skills:

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Acquire supplies and inventory in a timely and compliant manner.
- Make sure that impeccable housekeeping standards are upheld.
- Take receipt of all stock deliveries for the stores.
- Make sure the items you get are accounted for, in good order, and match the purchase orders.
- If needed, return stock to suppliers.
- Follow protocol when handling all papers and delivery notes.
- receiving service, non-stock, and stock goods.
- Make sure that all policies and procedures, including authority levels, are followed.
- Verify the item’s accuracy, stock level, and appearance.
- The stock needs to be returned to the supplier using a goods return advice (GRA) if there isn’t a system PO.
- Oversee and assist in making sure that authorized bills are filed with the department of creditors.
- Make that the goods are accurately recorded in the ERP system in relation to the PO.
