Job Advert Summary

The chosen applicant will work under the direction of the groundsman to make sure that, in terms of general daily upkeep of plant and property, rubbish clearance, road maintenance, and fencing, plant and property are kept presentable, safe, and dependable as required by Rand Water.

Minimum Requirements

• Matric/Grade 12
• fundamental understanding of plants
• Safety education will be beneficial.

Primary Duties

• Maintain the station and grounds by raking, sweeping, gathering construction debris with shovels, forks, and rakes, and gathering household trash cans from the area.
• upkeep of fences and roadways. Excavate by creating trenches in order to do pipe repairs.
• Help move building materials onto and off of trucks by physically moving objects into and out of the way.
• patch potholes on the spot and take care of routine cleaning tasks.
