Job Description
Are you a driven and passionate student who loves to bake and is prepared to enter the workforce?
It gives us great pleasure to invite bright and motivated students to apply for the Baking Learnership Program at RCL Foods. We are looking for fifteen students who will reside in Durban.
Over the course of the 12-month learnership program, there will be mentoring and coaching covering the baking process.
SETA has validated this learnership, and those who complete it will be awarded a formal qualification that has the support of SAQA.
Throughout the course of the certification, learners will be exposed to practical work that is mandated by RCL FOODS and the SETA.
Through the Supreme Siyabhaka Academy, we have three main areas of purpose:
To foster and advance each student’s abilities, producing young professionals who are employable and lacking in the baking industry as a whole
To raise awareness of our baking brands as symbols of quality and reliability, linking them to “best-in-class” abilities, offerings, and services
To be the industry leader by improving all in-store and professional bakery product standards, influencing consumer attitudes, and fortifying our bonds with clients.
Minimum Requirements
- It is necessary to have a grade 12 qualification in math and hospitality studies (Lit).
- It is beneficial to be computer literate (MS Office).
- demonstrates a will to succeed
- Is eager to develop and learn
- possesses lateral thinking, creativity, and a problem-solving methodology
