RETAIL SALES ASSOCIATE – ADIDAS

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 

Includes the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• ensures that every customer receives the best possible adidas service.
• Performs routine sales transactions using cash, credit, checks, etc. as needed.
• indirectly involved in product ticketing and paperwork verification versus received items.
• fills in as needed to help with the movement of products from the stockroom to the sales floor.
• Make sure that the company’s stock and assets are continually safeguarded to reduce shrinkage.
• helps create merchandise displays or adheres to schedules and recommendations given by the store management team.
• Develop your ability to use the point-of-sale system by learning how to use it.
• Pay attention to policy and procedure to ensure integrity is upheld.
• Enhances salesmanship and meets store and position sales targets by using sales strategies including add-on sales and explaining technical information to customers.
• welcomes and helps customers select the appropriate product in the store.
• occasionally works mostly on busy workdays as a greeter at the front door.

Education and experience requirements

• Grade 12 certificate
