Pick n Pay | Service Area Assistant (Deli, Bakery,Fruit & Veg)

Duties

• Arrange goods so they are stacked and stored safely and neatly.
• Stock merchandise in accordance with established guidelines.
• Appropriately value goods that are loose or unpredictable weight.
• Verify accurate pricing, such as labels.
• Replace out-of-date merchandise, rotate inventory, and inspect quality.
• Stop waste, shrinking, and damage.
• Verify temperatures and, if necessary, preserve the cold chain.
• Follow and uphold security protocols.
• Use and maintain equipment in accordance with established guidelines.
• Customers should be approached, given product advice, had their needs listened to, given the necessary goods or services, and treated politely and professionally at all times.
• Handle every order from a customer in accordance with the right protocols and service requirements.
• Encourage the sale of goods.
