Job Purpose

To provide effective and efficient financial support services to the Water and Sanitation Department

Application Requirements:

  • Grade 12 with Accounting or Maths as subjects
  • a minimum of six months of experience in a financial management setting
  • Knowledge of computers
  • Experience and expertise in SAP finance will be beneficial.

Primary Fuctions :

  • Get requests to produce a purchase requisition from the cost center owner.
  • Prepare invoices from creditors for payment.
  • Transfer money across and within cost center numbers.
  • Create journals to make interdepartmental payments and correct transactions that were incorrectly booked.
  • Help with the finance office’s general financial administration
  • Maintain documentation and collect data for the finance office.
  • Make sure that all processed payments are properly documented.
  • Fulfill ad hoc assignments as directed by management.
