Department: HEALTH

Job Purpose

To provide transportation, pickup, and delivery services for the Health Department.

Application Requirements:

• Grade 1o
• A minimum of six months’ applicable driving experience within the health industry
• Possession of a valid Code C1 driver’s license along with a current PrDP
• Must agree to a background check and permit fingerprinting (at the applicant’s expense)
• Although the job posting may specify a particular work location or area, candidates must be prepared to work anywhere in the city as needed and decided by departmental management. By submitting an application, candidates unconditionally agree to this requirement.

Primary Fuctions :

• Ensure the vehicle is ready by performing operator-level maintenance.
• Organize the route and needs by reviewing the schedule or spontaneous office requests.
• Provide transportation services.
• Maintain vehicles through routine upkeep.
• Carry out pickup and delivery duties.
• Handle additional tasks as directed.
